Peril in Peru

My son turned six yesterday, so I bravely ventured down to Lego Land at the Mall of America to get him a gift. Neither Target or Toys R Us had the very last set that he/we needed to complete the whole Lego Indiana Jones series.

Of course I couldn't help but recall the dream I just had the night before, and I kept thinking that something strange was going to happen, but I am happy to report that it went well. A little too well, I was in and out of there in no time at all, and didn't see a single Governor.

He/we started building last night, but didn't get very far, so this morning before leaving for school he asks:

Jack: Mom, will you finish building my Legos while I'm at school?

Me: I don't know sweetie, I have errands and laundry to get done, and phone calls to make...

Jack: Please!?

Me: Okay.

Jack: Thanks, but when you're done, don't play with it. I want to be the first.

Me: ...Alright.
